#24 Entry to start the race P5

St. Petersburg, Fla. - After a rough morning with the #24 in pieces in the paddock, Scott Anderson hit a late flying lap and found the sweet spot, posting the fifth best practice time.

Lead engineer Mike Colliver made the decision to change the gear stack this morning, and the team was rushed to get it complete in time for the morning practice. The calm that came over the team and Scott as they sat and waited eagerly for the car to be prepared for practice, put everyone at ease, and as soon as he stepped into the car, he was in a zone, and he placed the car solidly in the top five.

Then the heavens opened and the torrential downpour eventually led to cancellation of the Indy Lights qualifying session. With this cancellation, IndyCar made the decision to have the combined practice times stand as the qualifying results, leaving the #24 Anderson Podiatry Centers entry on the third row.

“Scott gave it all he had in the short amount of time he had available. We couldn’t have asked for more from him, and we are really proud of the effort Scott and the entire team made to put the car solidly in the field ” – Chris Williams, FFU Co-Owner
