St. Petersburg, Fla. - Scott Anderson and Fan Force United’s day ended earlier then planned after a mid pack brush with the wall bent the front right suspension disabling steering and sending him careening into the Turn Three wall.

The car sustained heavy damage in the crash and will require extensive repairs.

“I felt like I hit the curb or drove over something and then the car just wouldn’t steer..” – Scott Anderson, Driver

“We are disappointed in the outcome of todays race, but most importantly, Scott is ok.  We will get the car back to the shop and get the #24 ready for the next race in Long Beach. Rough start, but let’s hope for a big finish to the season.” – Chris Williams, Co Owner
