Andretti WWTR Advance 2019
"The next fives races will be the most important of my career. Gateway will kick off the home stretch with the final oval race and is worth more points (45 points for ovals, 30 points for road and street courses) than Portland and Laguna, so this race will be very important to collect those extra points. Andretti Autosport and myself will be putting all of our effort and time this week in to making sure we leave nothing on the table."

"I can’t wait to get back to an oval. We won this race last year and then followed it up with a P2 on the oval at Indianapolis, so I’m looking to keep this strong oval streak alive and leave Gateway with another win."

"I’m really excited for Gateway. Andretti Autosport swept the podium there last year and we had a really good test last week, so I know we’ll have great cars. I love this track and I’m ready to get going."

  • Veteran Indy Lights driver Ryan Norman stole the show during last year's race at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway, swapping the lead with then teammate Colton Herta for the final 10 laps and collecting his first career Indy Lights victory, taking the top step of an All-Andretti podium (Norman 1, Herta 2, Patricio O'Ward 3). Norman currently sits third in the standings, just 38 points away from second.
  • Championship points leader Oliver Askew heads into the race weekend with a 45 point lead over second place Rinus VeeKay. With only five races remaining, Askew looks to continue to gap his fellow drivers to solidify the championship race.
  • Rookie Robert Megennis claimed second place during his Indy Pro 200 run at WWT Raceway at Gateway. The driver of the No. 27 machine looks to duplicate or better his success during his Indy Lights debut at the track.
