  • Following a sweep of both races in Detroit, Kyle Kirkwood is now only four points from the championship lead. Kirkwood has a strong resume on the road course, winning all four of his Road to Indy starts at Road America.
  • Devlin DeFrancesco returns to Road America, where the Andretti Steinbrenner Autosport driver made his Road to Indy debut in 2020 in Indy Pro 2000. DeFrancesco would go on to capture pole position and a podium-finish in a strong first outing on the 14-turn road course.
  • Veteran Robert Megennis heads back to Road America looking to repeat a podium-finish and top-five finish from both races in 2019.
  • Danial Frost enters the Road America weekend with confidence as the Singaporean driver has two podiums in Indy Pro 2000 at the Elkhart Lake track, including one win.

"Coming off of a phenomenal Detroit GP weekend, we have some momentum. Road America is the fastest track we go to and one of the most enjoyable to drive. Fortunately, this track promotes great racing. As the championship has tightened up and we’re getting to the halfway point of the season, I believe the racing is going to intensify. The Andretti Autosport Indy Lights cars had a chance to test a month ago and we feel we have made some big strides with the car in preparation for this weekend."

"Road America is a race that I’ve been looking forward to for a long time. It’s a track I’ve had success at in the past and the No. 17 car was fast there in the test. I'm looking forward to putting Detroit behind us and getting a strong result in Road America."

"We had a good test at Road America a month ago, so I’m feeling really good about this weekend. It has been a weak track for us in the past, but we had a solid test and got the cars dialed in. I think we are going to have a good shot at it. I already have experience here and had a podium in 2019, so I think I know how to drive these races. We had a tough weekend in Detroit, but we can rebound and jump right into the next one."

"Road America is one of my favorite tracks on the calendar and we’ve had good results in previous years. We should expect no less with the No. 68 this weekend and hopefully we can make a comeback from the previous round."
